This is According to City People
Three prominent Ogun State Government officials who began governance with Senator Ibironke Amosun on May 29, 2011 have thrown in the towel due to some irreconcilable differences the seemed to have has with the Governor. We gathered that the first to throw in the towel was Rotimi Adewunmi, an Ogun big boy who was made the Governor’s Economic Adviser at the inception of the administration.
We gathered further that Rotimi left the government barely 6months after he got in when according to sources close him, he found out that the Governor was not ready to listen to all the economic policies divulged to some close associates that he was not ready to be a rubber stamp adviser which the governor wanted to make him.
Another top aide who also left Governor Amosun’s cabinet is Ambassador Ademola Ogunniake, who was his Chief of Staff.
We also gathered that Ambassador Ogunniake too could not also put up for more than 5 months in the government like Adewunmi because he was not confortable with the allege overbearing influence of the Governor on his aides. The last resignation which jolted Governor Amosun and the people Ogun State is the recent resignation of Mr. Wemimo Ogunde (SAN) who was the Commissioner for Justice in Ogun State until few weeks back.
We gathered that Ogunde too left Governor Amosun for his private legal practice as a result of his disagreement with some of the governance style of the Governor. We gathered further that the highly respected SAN left Senator Amosun Government over disagreement on some legal policies of the administration.
