Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has again appealed to members of the Rivers State House of Assembly to put the past behind and consider the interest of the people of the state to resolve the lingering political impasse in the oil rich state.
Fubara made the appeal on Thursday when he commissioned some projects in the Okrika Local Government Area of the state. “It is important at this stage that we all embrace peace,” Fubara said
The governor stressed that peace is essential for effective governance in the state. He urged all aggrieved political actors to move past recent events and fully commit to implementing the decisions outlined by the Supreme Court on February 28, 2025.
