“African First Ladies Unite in Angola to Launch #WeAreEqual Campaign”

On August 9, 2024, African First Ladies, including Nigeria’s Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Mozambique’s Mrs. Isaura Nyusi, Angola’s President Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço and his wife Dr. Ana Dias Lourenço, along with representatives from Namibia, Sao Tome, Sierra Leone, and Cape Verde, gathered in Luanda, Angola, to launch the #WeAreEqual campaign by OAFLAD, emphasizing their commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment across Africa.
