These two women encountered Governor BAO separately but they both got touched in the same manner.
Number One:Her name is Mrs. Ojo Ayodele Dada, aka ‘Honorable’, a staunch APC member from Ado Ekiti Ward 2 . She sells vegetables at Okesa market in Ado Ekiti and struggles to cater for her children and herself from the petty trade .
However, fate intervened when she crossed paths with Governor Oyebanji at an event in Osuntokun pavilion and Odo Ado. Courageously, she shared her struggles with the listening and compassionate Governor, who pledged his support.
Friday , last week , brimming with excitement, she received Governor Oyebanji’s support for her business. Not only was she given funds to breathe life back into her faltering business, but she was assured of continuous assistance, should she utilize the opportunity well.
Overwhelmed by this unexpected generosity of Mr. Governor, Mrs. Dada admits that it all feels like a dream, a great moment she never thought possible to receive not just attention, but crucial financial aid from the Governor himself . She became a drama queen with her display as seen in the pictures
Number Two: Yesterday, Friday, Mama Idowu Aderemi , 80 years plus, a widow, received financial aid with a carton of food items . She was shocked . She sang , she prayed and prayed for Mr Governor.
Mama’s story is being published because it is very inspiring. Despite mama’s old age , she manages to still do her petty business for her and grandchild to survive. Mama’s inspiring story will be fully published in a local newspaper publication soon as she offered to share .
Oftentimes , we choose to publish only few of these interventions just to inspire anyone still struggling.
Governor Oyebanji uses every available channel of engagement with the people to render lasting support for the most vulnerable ones.
A little show of kindness at all times could make the world a better place.
