Hon.(Engr.) Abiodun Ganiyu Johnson, has greeted Muslims on the commencement of the Holy Month of Ramadan.
In his message, he said the Holy Month of Ramadan is an opportunity for all Muslim faithfuls to deepen their relationship with Allah, promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.
Johnson, noted that fasting in the month of Ramadan is one of the pillars of Islamic faith as laid down by prophet Muhammed (SAW). He noted that a true and committed Muslim is known during Ramadan. He therefore urge the adherents of the Islamic faith to use the period for spiritual cleansing and healing and also to pray for the peace of Nigeria and also remember President Ahmed Tinubu in his various reform processes.
” As we seek the face of Allah in this holy month, let us hold dear, those lessons of the holy Prophet,pray earnestly for peace in the country and remember our President in his desires to put things rightly in our country.
” As a people, we can achieve a lot more in a peaceful atmosphere and all that is required is love for one another and commitment to work for the greatness, peace and unity of the country. ” He added.
