Some people are permanently sad. Some have no capacity to rejoice with those who are happy. These are serious psychological conditions. The group that I find most disturbing, however, are peopled by those who don’t know, refuse to find out the truth or learn but still go ahead to advertise their ignorance. May the Lord forgive some of their sins.
Since I became Commissioner for Information in Osun, I have learnt a lot , seen and met all kinds of people. The group that I do not and may never understand is this one whose members are prancing all over the place saying Oyetola is paying pension days to election. Unbelievable! I release these statements every month, many times twice a month because there are months the Oyetola administration releases funds for pension twice. I remember vividly a particular day I released pension statements twice in a day! Because the Governor approved funds for pension payment twice in one day, totalling N1.2bn. In 24 hours. Pray, where were these human beings shouting themselves hoarse over 1.6bn all these years, months? Can they lay their hands on the Bible and Quoran and swear that Oyetola is doing this for election purpose and that the Judge of Heaven and Earth should step into this particular matter? I have no problems with criticism and informed comments but this undiluted extreme mischief and pure evil has left me in shock. Kin lo le to ba yi???? Must we rubbish even good things just to score non-existent points? This administration has spent more than N50bn on pension . OSUN IS ONE OF THE ONLY FIVE STATES IN NIGERIA THAT REMIT PENSION. Let us all remember that the law of harvest will not be suspended for anybody. May we all reap what we have sown, what we are sowing and what we will sow tomorrow.
