Shina Peller Frowns At Ajimobi’s Death Rumour, Wishes Him Quick Recovery

A member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller, has expressed his displeasure over the death rumour of Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi.

The Iseyin-born federal legislator made this known via his twitter handle on Thursday, 18th June 2020, where he questioned the humanity of the brain behind the death rumour of the immediate past governor of Oyo State.

His tweet read in part:

“It is so disheartening to witness people fly around the death rumour of our dear leader, Senator Isiaka Abioila Ajimobi. Why would anyone wish his fellow man dead?”

In the same vein, Hon. Shina Peller seized the opportunity to wish the APC chieftain a quick recovery, whilst he also stated that his thoughts and prayers are with the Former governor Ajimobi with firm belief that he will come back better and stronger.

He wrote,

“Our prayers and thoughts are with you, our dear leader. We firmly believe that you will come back better and stronger. Get well soon in God’s name, our dear and extraordinary leader.”

Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi has been battling with the deadly Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) for weeks now, and is reportedly admitted at a specialist hospital, First Cardiology Consultant, at Lekki, Lagos State.

On Thursday night, Senator Ajimobi’s death rumour was spread around by some unverified online news platforms, but this has since been debunked by his spokesman, Bolaji Tunji, and his daughter, Fatima Ganduje-Ajimobi, who both asked members of the public to disregard the rumour, as the man in question is alive and responding to treatment.
