Opinion: Femi Otedola you got this wrong By Wale Olaleye

I actually waited for @femiotedola to deny a post credited to him yesterday, where names of some people and corporations, that allegedly pledged towards the cause of Covid-19 but yet to redeem them were listed.

Of all people, Otedola put it up in a sense that seemed to ridicule the people involved. It was totally beneath him and uncalled for.

First off, it was a pledge, not a debt. Therefore, making a mockery of it was rather too cheap and not befitting of his status. I was more than stupefied. Actually, I was embarrassed for him.

Mr. Otedola owes those people an apology. If the CBN that allegedly released the list didn’t publicise or make a fuss about it, nothing can dismiss an underlying mischief by this “advocate of let’s save lives”. It wasn’t nice at all.
