Good morning my dear learned Seniors, Noble Colleagues and Friends.

In recent times, I’ve been consulting very widely, in respect of emerging issues within the Bar, the Bench and the Nigerian polity generally.

There is a general consensus that Nigeria needs urgent rescue from the Bar, at this critical moment of the life of our dear country. It is agreed that a radical Bar is required to pilot our democratic experience.

I am therefore at the threshold of history concerning the Offcie of the President of the Nigerian Bar Association.
