Oba Oloja of Epe Honours Shina Peller With Chieftaincy Title of Akinrogun of Epe land

A member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa federal constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller, was on Friday 21st February 2020, honoured alongside his wife, Mrs. Ayobola Peller, as the Akinrogun of Epe land and Yeye Akinrogun of Epe land respectively.

The chieftaincy titles which were conferred on them by His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashahun, Arolugbade Elepe II (Olaja of Epe land) at the premises of his palace, witnessed a massive turnout of people and well wishers who had come to share the historic moment with the king, Peller and his wife, as well as others who were also honoured with chieftaincy titles.

The conferment of the chieftaincy titles on Hon. Shina Peller, his wife and others was part of the activities lined up to mark the 20th coronation anniversary of Oba Kamorudeen Ishola Animashaun as Oba Olaja of Epe land.

According to His Royal Majesty, his decision to honour Hon. Shina Peller with the chieftaincy title of Akinrogun of Epe land was informed by the humanitarian, selfless and brave acts of the Iseyin-born federal legislator which were targeted at making the society better.

Furthermore, Oba Olaja of Epe land stated that he strongly believes that the conferment of the chieftaincy title on Shina Peller will serve as a form of encouragement for him to be better in his good deeds and acts with hope that the people of Epe will also be beneficiaries of philanthropic traits which he has always been known for even long before he ventured into politics.

Some of those who were also honoured with chieftaincy titles include Ganiu Shonubi as Asiwaju Bobaselu of Epe land, the founder of Alaro City, white man named Stephen as the Bobatunluse of Epe land and two others.
