DISREGARD OLD VIDEO ON VISA OVER STAY IN INDIA

Abuja, Oct. 1, 2019 : The attention of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM),has been drawn to a video trending online of about 10 Nigerians in Indian prison in the district of Kolkata Nteji, India for overstaying their visas.

The Commission wants to state categorically that the video trending is an old video and the Nigerians detained for largely over stay of their visas have since returned to Nigeria , with the support of the Nigerian high commission in India

The gentleman speaking in the video, DANIEL BABATUNDE AKIMBORE was the last person who returned to Nigeria on Wednesday, July 17th 2019 as his flight schedule indicates below.

The Commission therefore urged all those concerned and the general public to disregard the video., while

reiterating the call to Nigerians to obey the laws of countries they go to, and be good Ambassadors of the country.
