Former First Lady of Lagos State, Dame Abimbola Fashola, former First Lady of Lagos State has accepted to officially commission Liberty Place, the new Head Office Complex of Lagos-based Non Governmental Organization, Jandor Foundation. The new office complex located on busy Adeniyi Jones street, Ikeja, Lagos will be opened on Tuesday October 1, 2019 and will function as the Foundation’s Head Office as well asSecretariat.Speaking on this cheering news, the Lead Visioner, Jandor Foundation, Mr. Abdul-AzeezOlajide Adediran said it is not accidental that the official commissioning coincideswith Nigeria’s Independence Day celebration, noting that it strongly aligns andsymbolizes the vision of the Foundation which is to empower the needy in our societytowards helping them become independent and self-sufficient.According to him “the new office complex is part of our continuous improvement to the Foundation’s support services model. The successes of our empowerment initiatives, especially over the past two years, have been very encouraging and an office complex such as this will provide the required support infrastructure and help us be better positioned toseamlessly execute  our ambitious plans in future . We deliberately named it LibertyPlace because we strongly believe it will help many, especially our indigent folks becomeindependent on many fronts” .Other special guests and dignitaries expected at the event will include topgovernment functionaries, private sector leaders, politicians, traditional rulers, sisterNGO representatives and friends of the foundation.Jandor Foundation was formally established in 2017 as an organization committed tobuilding structures that offer hope to the indigent. In a society where hope ispractically missing, the Foundation has quickly earned a reputation and has becomeidentified as restorers of hope.In just under 2years of operation in Lagos, the  Foundation already has over 1,000 volunteer staff who have worked hard to help transform thousands of lives and commissioned over 150 projects.
