Vanguard publisher has called to apologise to Osinbajo Sen Ojudu

The quotation below is from Professor Sola Adeyeye to me this morning on the bid by VP Osinbajo to waive his immunity and sue all those who have been trying to rubbish his integrity for their political purpose.

The management of Vanguard has expressed their regret for this lapse in editorial judgment to me. Just got a call from Uncle Sam, our respected elder in the profession . I cannot even put here what he said to express his regret because both he and Osinbajo hold each other in high regards. By the way Sam Amuka is the the publisher of Vanguard that ran that obnoxious story of FIRS N90B.

The decision on what to do is left to VP Osinbajo and his lawyer Mr Femi Falana ( SAN ). This is a very bad moment for our profession of journalism.
