OMPAN Lauds Makinde Over Taiwo Adisa’s Appointment as CPS

The Oyo State chapter of the Online Media Practitioners of Nigeria (OMPAN), has lauded the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde on appointment of Tribune’s Political Editor, Mr Taiwo Adisa as Chief Press Secretary (CPS), describing the Governor’s decision as the right choice and a strategic move.

OMPAN, in a congratulatory message signed by its state chairman, Mr Remi Oladoye and made available to pressmen by the Public Relations Officer, Dare Adeniran, said, “the new CPS, Mr Taiwo Adisa is an experienced and responsible communication expert.

“Mr Taiwo Adisa is one of the leaders many consider as a role model in the media profession and we expect that his involvement in the government will go a long way in projecting the image and policies of the government through effective communication.”

While assuring him of maximum support, the online media group said it is ready for a mutually benefitting collaboration with the government, through prompt and effective dissemination of news and other materials on it’s members’ various platforms.

The group also commended Engineer Oluseyi Makinde for appointmenting Alhaji Akeem Azeez as Personal Assistant, and urged him to bring in more credible and responsible journalists into his media team.

“Alhaji Akeem Azeez is a trustworthy and responsible journalist and we are confident that he would not betray the confidence reposed in him by the Governor”, the statement reads.
