Kano CP in closed-door meeting with INEC REC

The Kano State Commissioner of Police, Wakili Mohammed has entered into a closed – door meeting with the state INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner , Prof. Riskuwa Shehu.
Although details of the meeting which started three minutes ago are still shrouded in secrecy , it was gathered that it was meant to reassess the security situation in the state especially as it pertains to INEC facilities as a result of the political tension in the State.
Meanwhile , there has been an increase in the presence of armed soldiers and policemen as well as officers of the NSCDC around the INEC headquarters .
Visitors and staff are subjected to a search before allowed entry into the facility .
