The Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salawu, had set everything in a right shape to receive the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
The Vice President, Osinbajo, who can’t hide his love for Somolu-Bariga, will be visiting Adanijo Market and Onafowowan street around Morocco.
Osinbajo, having completed his secondary education at Igbobi College in Somolu, was a good footballer on the ICOBA football field.
The Professor of Law is expected to be received by the multiple award winning Mayor around Debari bus stop and may have a long walk to Apata through Lisabi to Morocco road to visit the Oba of Somolu, Oba Kareem Bashua.
On his ‘Eid-L-Kabir’ visit to Somolu and Bariga, Osinbajo said Somolu and Bariga remain his home, “a small boy who was playing football on the streets of Obanikoro and attended Igbobi College in Somolu is now our Vice President”, Osinbajo said.
The Vice President will be accompanied by Hon Abdul Hamed Salawu to Onafowowan street for House to house campaign after visiting the Oba of Somolu.
