Ahead of the forthcoming general elections, the gubernatorial candidate of the peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Zamfara State, Alhaji Bello Matawalle has urged electorate to express their worries in the current insecurity by voting PDP to power.
Speaking during the official flag off, of campaigns on Wednesday at Kaura Namoda town, the headquarters of Kauran Namoda Local Government Area, Matawalle said voting of PDP into power would no doubt help to end the ongoing killing in the state. Matawale who was a one time chairman House Committee on Security and intelligence, promised to focus serious attention to end the menace.
He stressed that his resolved to join the race was to better the lives people economically,socially and tackle insecurity that bedevilled the state. My administration, if elected in March 2019, will give priority to education, healthcare, security, harness mineral resources, as well as improve farming activities in the state.

The state PDP chairman Alhaji Ibrahim Mallaha who was overwhelmed as a result of the teeming supporters that gathered at official flag off, said the party has all its takes to win election in Zamfara state. Mallaha revealed that for the first time, PDP stakeholders had agreed on one gubernatorial candidate.
He expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment exhibited by the party stakeholders from all the 14 local government area in the state, PDP would remain one make more impact in the forthcoming general elections in the state
