CJN trial: Osinbajo should cover his face in shame, Govt of president not aware must end – Fayose

Immediate past Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Ayodele Fayose has told Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to shut up and stop disgracing himself and the legal profession with his highly ridiculous comments on the trial of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen.

The former governor, who urged Nigerians to end the regime of “president is not aware” with their votes on February 16, added that; “no nation can make progress with a president that is always unaware of even the simplest aspect of his government.”

Fayose said it was shameful and disgraceful that a Vice President, who is a senior lawyer could be telling Nigerians that himself and the President were not informed before the CJN was charged to the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

In a release issued in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, by his Media Aide, Lere Olayinka, the former governor who is also the Southwest Coordinator of Atiku/Obi PDP Presidential Campaign Council said; “it should now be clear to Nigerians that President Muhammadu Buhari is not in charge of anything. He might not even be in charge of his existence not to talk of being conscious of his position as the president of Nigeria.

“Is the Vice President saying that the Minister of Justice can unilaterally file charges against a high profile government official like the CJN?

“What the Vice President just told Nigerians is that the government is truly under the firm control of the cabal that the First Lady, Aisha Buhari said Nigerians should rescue her husband from.

“Therefore, Nigerians should rescue themselves from the hands of the cabal and elect a president that will be in charge of his government.”

Fayose said the CJN was being hounded because of his uprightness and the belief of the cabal holding Nigeria down that he won’t do their bidding by helping them to put judicial stamp on their planned rigging of the presidential election.

He said; “With a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) as the vice president and the judiciary is being humiliated in this manner by the Presidency? It is a shame and methinks someone should just stop advertising his shamelessness to the world.”
