Following a disgraceful act by the dimwit paid to cause confusion, distraction and disunity across board to tear the party apart ahead the general election has turn him a ‘’Political Orphan’’ as the leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party in Iwo Federal Constituency restated their support for the party senatorial candidate in the general election, Akogun Lere Oyewumi and condemned a court case allegedly instituted by one of the defeated Governorship aspirant of the party in the state, Akin Ogunbiyi.
In a statement titled: “Disassociate From Court Action” We the undersigned PDP leaders and stakeholders from Iwo Federal Constituency (Ayedire, Ola-Oluwa and Iwo) hereby disassociate ourselves from the court action brought against the PDP, our Governor in waiting, Sen. Ademola Adeleke and Senatorial candidate for Osun west senatorial district, Akogun Lere Oyewumi by Akin Ogunbiyi. We therefore assured the leadership of our party from the National to the ward level of our unalloyed support for our great party PDP and we shall work for the party victory in the coming 2019 general election.”
Its pathetic that Ogunbiyi who was invited by some PDP leaders in view of his presumed ‘’financial clout’’ to lead the party in the last gubernitorial election, no sooner than later was alleged to have been too desperate and working to derail PDP hard-earned labour. Even his political associates and loyalist no longer wished to be identified with, rather they began to denounce and dissociating from him. Hmmm ! When God Endorses, Human Apostasy Is Sisyphean.
