The Ekiti state Governor Dr Kayode Fayemi stated this at the inter-faith thanksgiving service held at Government House Pavilion, Ado-Ekiti today.
Gov Fayemi who was represented by his Deputy Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi said that the program became necessary in order to appreciate God for the victory recorded at the election and to commit the administration to God hands for its success.
Governor Fayemi assured Ekiti people of quality representation noting that all appointees of his administration will be people of proven integrity and records.
The Governor reiterated his position on scrapping of levies in all primary and secondary schools in the state by directing that no Headmaster or principal should collect any illegal fees from pupils and students respectively.
He promised to continue his rural development projects from where he stopped in 2014 in order to touch all towns and villages in the state.
The inter-faith thanksgiving service was attended by dignitaries across the state including Wife of the Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, Wife of the Deputy Governor, Mrs Margaret Egbeyemi, Secretary to State Government, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, Chief of Staff, Biodun Omoleye, clergymen from both faiths, party leaders, members and well wishers.
