.COUNT US OUT IN OKOROCHA’S PRIMARY ELECTION TODAY, SATURDAY 6TH, OCTOBER 2018
The Deputy Governor of Imo State, Prince Ezeakonobi Madumere (MFR), on behalf of the Joint Coalition of APC Governorship Aspirants in Imo State heartily thank the good people of the state for their boldness not to participate in the purported governorship primary election as organized by Governor Rochas Okorocha and his group on Friday, 5th October 2018.
This unanimous resistance not to be part of the charade despite the pressure mounted on them is a clear indication that the people have rejected imposition of unpopular candidate on members of our great party (APC) and the state at large.
It will interest you to know that six Governorship Aspirants out of the nine that participated in the October 1st, 2018 governorship primary in Imo State came together to affirm the declaration of Senator Hope Uzodinma by the election Committee Chairman, Alhaji Almed Gulak as the authentic winner of the said prinary election.
Following this development, the Joint Coalition of APC Governorship Aspirants (JCAPCGA) in Imo State wish to inform members of APC and the good people of our state in general that every issue of Governorship primary election has been concluded as the name of the Governorship candidate of the party for Imo State has since been forwarded for recognition.
Please, be aware that our party is hosting her national convention today in Abuja, which every party stakeholder is expected to be in attendance. Therefore, count us out in any laughable jamboree in the name of APC primary election today as speculated in the media.
May I, on behalf of my other colleagues congratulate you for the major role you played which brought total liberation to our great party in the state. Today, those who criticized our party due to action of one man who never saw anyone as qualified for the number one position in the state order than his son-in-law, are now coming back to assist in purging off Pharaoh and his Egyptians from the state come 2019.
Congratulations!
Uche Onwuchekwa
