First is the billionaire oil merchant, Femi Otedola, whose sudden prominence on social media was suspected but he managed to rebute the reports quickly, following the endorsement AA by his mum for second term.Next is the former Lagos speaker Barr Adeyemi kuforiji who also issued a strong statement, thereby disassociating himself from such stories. However, he prepares to go to the senate by grabbing Sen Ashafa Lagos East ticket.
Surprisingly, it has been reported that in the Lagos political circle, Gbolahan Lawal ojora the Apapa born solid commissioner for Lands and housing is the deserved candidate of the Lagos establishment .

Although, Gbolahan who used to be Asiwaju ADC and a very close Associate of oba of Lagos is preparing himself for the seat in 2023 and not willing to run against his boss AA who seems to have an established relationship with him. He got the news just like everyone on a forwarded WhatsApp message and has totally denied such rumours.
