Osun PDP guber aspirants reject Adeleke, insist Ogunbiyi won the primary

7 aspirants that contested the last Saturday governorship primary of the Osun state chapter Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), have rejected the outcome of the exercise, saying Senator Ademola Adekele, did not win majority of the votes.

The aspirants, insisted that Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, when votes of the delegates were being sorted, got 1,590 votes and alleged that during power outage experienced when the exercise was on, manipulation of votes took place to ensure that Adeleke pick PDP ticket.

Addressing newsmen in Osogbo on behalf of others, Senator Akinlabi Olasunkanmi, said Engr. Jide Adeniji, Dr. Akin Ogunbiyi, Dr Ayo Adewopo, Senator Kola Ogunwale, Prof. Adeolu Durotoye, Barr. Adejare Bello, all rejected the outcome of the primary and demanded immediate redress.
