Chief Press Secretary To Enugu Governor Dies In India

Mr. Uwakwe Abugu, the Chief Press Secretary to Enugu State governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has died in faraway India.

The Enugu State Government announced the death of Mr. Abugu on Wednesday.

A statement released yesterday evening said Mr. Abugu passed on yesterday June 4th in a hospital in India after a protracted illness.

Abugu was appointed chief press secretary in June 2015. Before his appointment, he was the South East Bureau Chief of New Telegraph Newspaper.

He also worked with Independent Newspapers and defunct Nigerian Compass
