Ekiti South Federal Lawmaker, Hon. Segun Adekola, had called on his kinsmen from Ekiti South to come out enmasse to vote in Prof. Kolapo Olusola as Ekiti State Governor come July 14, saying the agitation on South marginalisation was about to yield positive result.
Adekola, who had earlier branded one bus and a Sienna for the project, made the call while presenting anorher branded Toyota Sienna to Osoko Mass Movement (OMM), an umbrella body of all campaign groups for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) continuity agenda over the weekend in Ado-Ekiti, said, “If Ekiti Central and North could have produced two governors each, I believe our turn is now or never.”
He lauded activities of all groups and charged OMM never to relent in her parenting responsibility, adding that until victory is collectively recorded at the poll, nobody has worked extraordinarily to deserve applause.
“Prof. Olusola had orchestrated improvement on our academic system as Ekiti deputy governor and we cannot now afford trading his academic expertise with that of someone whose party’s retrenchment policy, silence on herdsmen killings and his personal hatred to workers speak volume,” the lawmaker stressed.
He urged Ekiti residents, most especially workers to get their permanent voter’s card to tell the All Progressive Congress (APC), that voting Fayemi is like committing suicide and acknowledging one’s sack letter in advance.
