KWARHer Excellency, Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed is the Founder of LEAH Foundation, a non-governmental Organization established to raise awareness and spur affirmative action on issues affecting the survival and development of women and children in particular, and humanity in general.

She started her primary education at International School, University of Ibadan and finished at St. Theresa Primary School. She then proceeded to the prestigious St. Theresa’s College where she had her Secondary Education.

Deaconess Ahmed bagged National Diploma (O N D) in Banking and Finance from Kwara State Polytechnic and Higher National  Diploma (H N D) from Kano State polytechnic; Postgraduate Diploma in Banking and Finance from Bayero University, Kano State. She is also a holder of M B A degree from Anderson University, U S A and presently undergoing a Masters course in leadership management at the Trinity Western University, Canada.

Deaconess Omolewa Ahmed is a good Christian who loves God passionately, a dutiful wife and mother. She is married to His Excellency, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed the Governor of Kwara State.KWA
