STANDARD CHARTERED BANK DEFRAUDED A NIGERIAN JAPANESE INVESTOR MR IMASUEN ESE
The CEO of Imasuen Investment Japan Group, Mr Ese Osabuohien Imasuen has said the Standard Chartered bank was working against the economic policy of the Federal Government by halting moves by individuals and foreign partners to invest in different areas of the economy.
On the efforts of the federal Government to revive the nation’s economy from recession through engagement of Nigerians in Diaspora to invest in the economy, Imasuen alleged that the commercial bank had been hindering his company to invest massively in the country by withholding his legitimate and traceable funds.

He called on President Muhammadu Buhari, the Inspector General of Police, Mr Suleiman Abba and other relevant agencies to critically look into the activities the Bank and unwholesome practices of some of its staff which according to him had prevented his company from investing massively in the economy.
“Our attention has been drawn to a publication in punch newspaper page 24 of Wednesday October 26th, 2016 where the Federal Government through the Senior Special Assistance to the president on Diaspora and Foreign Affairs. Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa implored Nigerians in the Diaspora to invest in the country in order to grow the economy.
“We wish to state that Standard Chartered Bank plc is working at variance with the economic policy of the Federal Government which urges Nigerians in the Diaspora to invest in the country.
“The bank has been hindering our services and interest to invest in the country as well as other Japan business partners. “We want to invest in Agriculture, Transportation, Infrastructure, Entertainment, Youth Empowerment and other Humanitarian Projects in more than 100 billion USD.
“Therefore, the Federal government and other relevant bodies should call the bank to order.
“We make bold to say he is a registered Agent of trade with F.E.D license No: 987.335/12. This can be verified by either the embassy,FED, AML, FBI, CIA, EFCC, DSS or Interpol. Mr. Imasuen Ese is a blessing to Nigeria and Africa as the only Black man to have ever been given mandate to trade currencies in the world.We request the effort of federal government and other relevant authorities to intervene.
