Lagos APC Dismisses PDP’s Call For Reopening of Tinubu’s CCB Trial As Rants Of Frustrated Losers.

> The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress has described the call by Lagos PDP for the Code of Conduct Tribunal to re-open the case the Jonathan led government and the PDP instigated against the National Leader of APC and firmer Lagos governor, Asuwaju Bola Tinubu as the silly rants of frustrated losers desperately splashing mud to tar others when they are facing weighty corruption cases. It said that seeing no future in its woe-ridden dream of ever being allowed to raid Lagos, as it did other parts of the country for 16 sorrowful years, Lagos PDP now splashes mud to ensure every other person, especially its single greatest nightmare, Asiiwaju Bola Tinubu is muddled in its noxious corrupt acts.

> “Let us recall that the erstwhile Jonathan regime and the PDP, gripped with fear of Asiwaju’s redoubtable political strength and capacity, cooked up a hollow charge that Asiwaju maintained foreign accounts while he was governor of Lagos State. Let us recall that these fonts of corruption instigated a charge against Asiwaju in the Code of Conduct Tribunal and that the case went its full course and was dismissed for what it was; a hollow political plot to cage the rising political profile of Asiwaju and nothing more. Let us recall also that, faced with the bareness of their plot, the PDP and Jonathan government took no further action on the case.

> “Nigerians should recall the devilish and very elaborate efforts by the PDP to tarnish the hard earned integrity and reputation of Asiwaju on the belief that their gossips and tittle tattling will arrest Asiwaju’s resolve and capacity to see to the end of the rouge PDP regime in Nigeria. We should also recall that the Jonathan and the PDP government went to the extent of cooking up a devilish, dangerous and crooked sallad of lies, forgeries, fabrications and outright falsehood against the Asiwaju and baked it into the infamous evil documentary for which the chief purveyor of that deliberate mischief, the African Independent Television has publicly apologised to the Asiwaju for that wicked slander. Let us also recall that all these desperate measures aimed at be smearing the reputation of Asiwaju, the single greatest nightmare of the PDP, did not prevent the massive defeat the PDP suffered in the country last year.

That it is building yet another salacious demand for the reopening of a political hatchet case it prosecuted against Asiwaju shows that Lagos PDP seriously needs help for it to overcome the debilitating loss it has continually suffered in Lagos but also the calamity that befell it when it lost its access to the federal treasury that had financed PDP’s flight of folly in Lagos since 1999.
