Thisday Deupty Politcal Editor died on sunday,Here is a tribute written by the Group Political Editor of Thisday Newspaper,Olaleye Olawale in his honor.
“The news of the death of my deputy on the Politics Desk of THISDAY, Mr. Ademola Adeyemo is beyond a rude shock. In fact, no death has in recent time interpreted the words of Williams Shakespeare as his…”A poor player who struts and frets his hours on a stage and is suddenly found no more”. Mr. Adeyemo and I last spoke on Saturday morning to discuss some issues relating to the productivity of the desk and on Sunday evening, he breathed his last. I know from Him we came and unto Him we shall return, but nothing about your sudden exit is worth glorifying. Instead, it brings pain and anguish. Prince, you were a very loyal and good deputy, our age difference notwithstanding. You gave your all as and when due for the delivery of work on the desk. You never turned down work even at the shortest notice. You were a good man, who prayed for me and the desk at all times. May God forgive your inadequacies and lay you in a good place. Indeed, it’s been a long day without you my friend but I will tell you all about it when I see you again.
Good night, Prince!”
