EKWUNIFE’S SENATORIAL DISGRACE
Our attention has been drawn to a publication today January 8, 2015, on the general and social media, titled “Why I joined the APC”, by the sacked PDP senatorial candidate for the Anambra Central Senatorial Constituency – Mrs. Uche Ekwunife.
Our traditional, steadfast and dependable community may not be taken for granted by a very cold calculation at individual political survival. Anambra Central Senatorial sees through the chicanery and deserves better.
Mrs. Uche Ekwunife can hold her ‘drifting’ explanation. Our electorate does not need it. The ex-member of the Federal House of Representatives must understand that we are past selling our ethos for a paltry, in the name of having the right connections. Our values in these parts remain steadfast. Solid.
At the APGA THINK-TANK, Our presentation is that even without the right connections, WE CAN STAND OUR GROUND, STRONG, AND ON THE ISSUES. Because our issues deserve the strong political ground they are built on – The ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA), NIGERIA.
Yes! Our people count on them.
That is why the APGA Senatorial Candidate for the Anambra Central Senatorial remains the one and only – Chief Sir Victor Chinonyelum Umeh KSJ, OFR – Ohamadike Agulu. Ekwueme Enugu-Ukwu.
The sojourner with drifting ethos may not represent us. No!.
Mrs. Ekwunife’s bio is littered with history of severe difficulty demonstrating loyalty to any political dispensation that she has embraced, or has embraced her. Ask the PDP, PPA, APGA, PDP again. Mrs. Ekwunife has difficulty with loyalty. Period.
We would remind her that at the Anambra Central Senatorial constituency, being ‘faithful’ is not a fleeting fancy. It is the Ideal amongst others, rooted in the traditional culture from time immemorial, by our forefathers and mothers – of Truthfulness, Long-Suffering, Abiding loyalty and Faith in the Almighty God.
At the APGA THINK-TANK, we ask Mrs. Uche Ekwunife, where did those ethical standards go?
Our forebears severely frowned at inconsistent, undependable behavior. It never passed muster with them, then. It does not pass muster with us now, at the Anamabra Central Senatorial.
Mrs. Ekwunife’s undependability in the contemporary Nigerian political party experience, is a questionable credit unrivaled in the annals of Nigerian politics. No Nigerian politician has ever had such wide-spread affiliation and survived to tell the tale. Anambra Central Senatorial refuses to be tagged along. We are a dedicated, resolute community and stand for something. We know who represents us.
In severe contrast with your short-lived Political party romances with the PDP, PPA, APGA, PDP and now APC, The ALL PROGRESSIVES GRAND ALLIANCE (APGA) Senatorial Candidate – Chief Sir Victor Umeh has remained consistent with his party and the strong political beliefs they hold for his constituency, Anambra State and the Nigerian Federation. Those beliefs are constant, and is what our general electorate has looked forward to as representative for their existence in Nigeria including: Domicile security, a laissez-economy where trade and industry in all realms are encouraged, effective education and healthcare for our young ones, and adequate Healthcare for all and sundry in the society, Infrastructure creation and repairs to ease the quality of life in the Nigerian Federation. These consistent beliefs made Chief Victor Umeh, as then National Chairman of the APGA political party, give you political cover in The APGA, when you wandered over for political protection. How generous! Conventional wisdom thought you found home.
But lo!, And you wandered off again!
At the APGA THINK-TANK, We’re sure you are looking back at the steady feature that consistently appears on your backview mirror. That is Chief Victor Umeh, standing steadfast with the APGA base. And the APGA base embracing him back. He has been with us during the good and the bad. We thank him for that. It is the Human experience. That is the value of steadfastness. There is virtue in being steadfast.
Chief Sir Victor Umeh is steadfast. That is why the voters at the Anambra Central Constituency will exactly know where to vote again during the forthcoming senatorial elections. The Cock symbol. It is steadfast. No movement. Come rain or shine. We know who is associated with the Cock.
We cannot say the same for you.
At the APGA THINK-TANK, we feel it is a value you’ll have to learn. We wish you luck at the tutelage.
We urge our teeming electorate across Nigeria to go out and campaign massively for Chief Sir Victor Umeh KSJ, OFR for the Anambra Central Senatorial seat.
Faithfulness has its rewards.
