FORMER ONDO LP CHAIRMAN IS DEAD
A former Labour Party Chairman in Ondo State, Chief Olaiya Oni is dead.
Oni, Nigeria’s former minister of Education reportedly died at the Federal Medical Centre FMC, in Owo on Sunday afternoon.
There are indications that he has been sick for the past three months in his hometown at Ise-Akoko, Akoko North East.
Until his death he was a member of the Peoples Democratic Party after resigning from his office as the pioneer State Chairman of Labour Party in 2011 under controversial circumstances.
He was 72 years old at the time of his death.
