Kachikwu to lecture in Lagos on leadership
Come Wednesday November 18, all roads will lead to the Nigeria Institute of International Affairs, NIIA, Victoria Island in Lagos for the one year celebration of Leadership and Style magazine.
Highlights of the epoch-making event which will kick-off at 10am include a lecture to be delivered by the Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC and Ministerial nominee, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu who has been invited as Guest Speaker during the occasion.
According to a press release issued in Lagos and signed by Sunny Okim, Editor-in-Chief of Leadership and Style Magazine, Kachikwu will lecture on the topic, ‘’Raising Future Nigerian Leaders: Challenges of Modernisation’’
Introduced into the newsstands across the country in August 2014, Leadership and Style is a general interest monthly publication that has brought to the Nigerian print media landscape the promises of a new standard.
According to Okim, the uniqueness of the magazine is in showcasing excellence in leadership and leadership styles, factual news reporting and the traditional standards of journalism at its professional best. The 100-page full colour, all gloss publication comes with the enchanting freshness of balanced and well researched content.
‘’We want to celebrate the success of a well-packaged publication anchored by indigenous professionals. I must say that in-spite of the challenging times, Leadership and Style has, in the past one year of its hitting the newsstands, made its way into the hearts of the Nigerian readers, as well as readers across the globe, since it’s also published on-line,’’ said Okim.
Other top dignitaries expected to grace the event, according to the press statement, include the executive governor of Akwa-Ibom State, Mr Udom Emmanuel as Special Guest of Honour, the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Kolawole Taiwo (Guest of Honour), Chief Peter Okocha (Chairman of the Occasion), Mr Ray Ekpu (Co-Guest Speaker), and many others.
The special anniversary edition of the magazine which will be unveiled during the occasion, according to Okim, will be reviewed by Mr. Frank Aigbogun, Publisher Business Day.
