Most successful people above the age of 40 would have probably considered it very ridiculous and unnecessary for themselves enrolling for a first degree programme at tertiary institution. However, Otunba Gani Adams, undoubtedly, does not belong to this category of people as he has just graduated from the Prestige Lagos State University (LASU) with a B.Sc.in Political Science at age 45.
Prior to his enrollment at LASU to study Political Science, Otunba Gani Adams had become so powerful and globally recognized that many already consider him a successful man, a visionary leader, a charismatic political activist, a reliable champion of rights of the masses, an embodiment of political morality and an epitome of humility. Therefore, this might have prompted many to consider his further quest in educational pursuit needless.
Born on 30th of April, 1970 at Arigidi-Akoko in the present Akoko North-West Local Government Area of Ondo State, Otunba Gani Adams strongly believes that age and achievements shouldn’t dissuade one from seeking knowledge and formal education necessary for his advancement in life. As far as he is concerned, seeking knowledge should be a continuous process till one exists no more.
In his drive for self-development, Otunba Gani Adams had earlier bagged a Diploma in Tourism Management from the International Aviation School, Tema, Ghana in 2003. To further sharpen his academic capabilities, he also bagged a Diploma in International Affairs and Strategic Studies from the Lagos State University (LASU).
