The National President of Oodua Progressive Union (OPU), Otunba Gani Adams, has been reaching out to Yorubas in Turkey and Dubai for the sole purpose of propagating the organization.
The Oodua Progressive Union, another initiative of Chief Gani Adams, is founded with the aim of uniting all sons and daughters of Oduduwa descendant anywhere they are across the world.

It would be recalled that the OPU, a non-governmental and non-religious organization, was formed in 2011 in Great Britain, but was officially launched in 2012 in India.

On 7th of September 2013, Great Britain was launched followed by the launch in Holland on September 14. Similarly, OPU was launched in France on September 12, while in Germany; it was launched on September 10. Also, Austria chapter was launched on the 16th of August 2014 at Vienna Austria. Indeed, the OPU now exists in more than 50 countries across the world.

In his efforts in ensuring that OPU grows in wings and soars higher, Otunba Gani Adams has made another interesting move by holding an interactive gathering with Yorubas residing in Dubai and Turkey.
In the same vein, Chief Gani Adams is expected to tour some other countries of the world to inform the Yorubas residing there about this Yoruba Cultural group and hold an interactive session with them.

As noted earlier, it is formed to create an enabling platform for the sons and daughters of Yoruba ancestors in Diaspora as well as to foster unity among the Yoruba race and provide a platform for all Yoruba sons and daughters in the Diaspora to work for the common interest of Yorubaland.
On a similar note, the OPU is saddled with the responsibility of re-awakening the dead spirit of the culturally diverse Yoruba nation, with a strong determination and objective of emancipating, liberating and re-orientating the Yoruba race.

The President of the OPU, Otunba Gani Adams, and other great minds of the organization strongly g1g2g3g4believe that with a common sense of purpose, the Yoruba race can work towards realizing the dreams and aspirations of our forefathers.

Your writeup on opu is a masterpiece. Keep it up.

  3. Gani Adams is deceitful. Committed to Naira and not Yourbas. He flaunts wealth while the OPC boys are always in rags. A leader indeed. This guy must be tamed. He should be forced to relocate to Ondo state. He has no business in Lagos
