APC’S VICTORY DEBUNKED FEDERAL MIGHT – KWARA STATE GOVERNOR (BY KOLA POPSON)

The Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed has described APC’s victory in the 2015 general elections as historic one that has debunked the popular notion referred to as ‘Federal Might’. The Kwara State Governor, who posted this on his twitter handle and Facebook timeline today, noted that the results of the general elections have downgraded the power of incumbency in Nigerian politics.
Responding to the speculations that APC’s victory in the last elections may turn Nigeria to a one party state, Governor Abdulfatah holds a contrary opinion to this, noting that despite APC’s strong showing in the elections, Nigeria will not become a one party state.
Furthermore, the outgoing governor of Kwara State observed that the victory is just a pointer to the incoming government and the new elected leaders that electorates are now fully ready to hold them accountable for their actions while in office.

What has compensation got to do with the victims of xenophobic attacks in SA. We should think right and stop practises that is prebendalic in nature. Again, it is an avenue to steal from the government treasury. How do you quantify the damages? How can you ascertain correctness? How about Nigerians here at home land that had suffered greater lost, have you or the government compensated them? What’s the rationale behind the compensation? What’s the assurance that it won’t be over invoiced? Rather than the government take decisive but diplomatic and firm decisions as done by other neighbouring Africa countries to south Africa or evacuate Nigerians out of SA except of course those who do not want to leave, you are suggesting compensation. Such a poor idealogy to remedying the overwhelming fraud and errors in governance. Our thinking should be in the growing as it is a national shame and embarrassment to suggest such. Take the right approach and get the bulls by the horns, and desist from giving very wrong advice to the government for history is not past. Make progressive decisions and watch the majority/people comments. The time is up
