Results collated from all the wards and local government in the Lagos West senatorial district has shown that the All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate Hon. Solomon Olamilekan Adeola aka YAYI is leading his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Mr. Segun Adewale aka aeroland.
With the results computed so far, Hon. Adeola is leading in six local governments while Mr. Adewale is leading in four local goernments. Of the total 797,220 votes tallied so far, the APC candidate has polled 428,206, while the PDP candidate has polled 369,014.
The APC is now leading PDP by 59,192 but the result has not yet been declared by the Independent national Electoral Commission (INEC) which is the only constitutionally recognized body empowered to declare such official result.
Agents of both parties are still at the Ikeja collation center waiting for the official announcement. However, the results shown below exclude elections that did not take place in some polling units of Oshodi/Isolo yesterday
