Once again, our attention has been drawn to the activities of a group of people who are using facebook and other social media sites to attack the person of the National Coordinator of the OPC, Otunba (Dr) Gani Adams.
Threatening our members/family. Investigations have also revealed that these people, who we found out to thugs, belong to the Face of Lagos group (Oju Eko) an arm of the APC. While it would have been expedient to ignore their rantings and lies, because we know that silence is golden.
But we aware that it can also be misconstrued to mean an admission of guilt. Therefore, this little piece is to enable these people know that we are aware of their plans and those of their paymasters to attack Otunba Gani Adams, his Aides and other leaders of the OPC.
It must be stressed here that we in the OPC strongly believe in the irrevocable rights of every Nigerian to belong to any political party he or she wishes to belong. We also strongly believe in the inviolate rights of every true Yoruba son and daughter to self-determination. This has always been our been our stand and shall remain so forever, irrespective of the machinations of anybody. Having said that, we would like to inform them that we are ready for them since they have pulled the trigger.
Nobody, we repeat, nobody is going to intimidate us from moving ahead with our set goals. One word is enough for the wise.
