Lagos State Governor, Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to the family of his late Special Adviser on Regional Integration, Reverend Tunji Adebiyi, describing the death as a big shock to him personally and sad loss for the people and Government of Lagos State.
The Governor, who was received by the widow, Mrs Biodun Adebiyi and the children, Miss Bolutife Adebiyi and Miss Victoria Adebiyi at their Ijaiye Ojokoro home said: “We have lost a friend, Party man, compatriot and Global citizen of substance”.
“For Reverend Adebiyi, no task was too big, no place was too far and “no purpose was not possible, once it was to be done on behalf of the people, the Governor wrote during the visit in a condolence register opened for Reverend Adebiyi.
While praying that his soul would rest in peace, Governor Fashola said the people of Lagos and indeed everyone would miss him.
Reverend Adebiyi who was until his death the Special Adviser to the Governor on Regional Integration passed away on Monday during a brief illness.
