The biggest wedding contest Nigeria has ever seen, ‘My Big Nigerian Wedding’ Season 1 finally saw the lucky couple Yemisi Aiyedun and Yomi Odusanya walk down the aisle with glam and fun fair. The bride was made-up by no other but the makeup queen Banke Meshida-Lawal of BM Pro, Cake was done by Tosan of Cakes by Tosan, The wedding attire king did both the bride and groom’s attire, no one but Mai Atafo. Pictures were taken by Kelechi Amadi Obi, Decor by Nwandos signature and a host of the best of the best in the wedding industry handled different parts of the wedding. Who wouldn’t have wanted this kind of wedding for free. Guests at the wedding were astonished at the level at which the wedding was done. The organizers WED Expo which is the Largest Wedding Exhibition in Nigeria truly showed that they are the biggest in the game. The wedding which will be produced by Riverside Produxtion to a reality TV series expected to hit TV screens soon.

Now the whole country is gearing up for season 2 as ‘My Big Nigerian Wedding’ decides to take it a notch higher by introducing the Abuja version for season 2. The CEO of WED Expo, the organizers of ‘My Big Nigerian Wedding’, Akin Eso says in season 2, there will be both a Lagos wedding and an Abuja wedding. Akin Eso also mentioned that the goal was to make the dream of a lucky couple come through each year.

Sponsors are already in talks to benefit from the span of this nationwide contest. Registration for season 2 will be only at WED Expo – Nigeria’s Largest Wedding Exhibition which will take place this October 10th to 12th at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos and in Abuja from the 17th to 19th at M and M event center. This, the organizers say will enable all contestants benefit from future discounts of vendors attending the expo and will pave way for the right accreditation before the contest moves online. With the success of season 1 and pictures from the wedding everywhere, season 2 is sure to be a record breaker as we all know weddings is a big part of our culture. Organizers also say entry into the contest is totally free. You dont want to miss out on season 2 if you are ready to get married in 2015.
