Spotless Hotel owned by the PDP governorship candidate, Ayodele Fayose is experiencing a new lease of life.
The hotel which in the days of the governorship of Mr. Fayose between 2003 and 2005 enjoyed high patronage from the state government and political allies of the former governor went into near disuse following the removal of Fayose from office.
Until now it had been under lock and key.
But with the election approaching, the hotel is now a beehive of activities as Fayose has practically relocated his campaign office to the hotel.
The hotel has become the campaign’s Situation Room as party executives and supporters daily converge there to strategise on the next line of action meanwhile The PDP candidate, Ayo Fayose has described the turn around by Governor Kayode Fayemi on the conduct of competency test teachers and the implementation of the 27% teachers allowance as “voodoo, gimmick, deceit and a mere political statement.”
Reacting to the development, Fayose urged the teachers not to fall to these promises which are fake, saying that All Progress Congress (APC) which emerged from Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN ) has no record and reputation of being upright or faithful to promises.
Speaking through his spokesman, Mr Idowu Adelusi, Fayose told the teachers and people of Ekiti State that returning Fayemi and APC to power. “ is another four years of hunger, deceit, retrogression, capital flight, re-introduction of political competency, sack and humiliation of teachers, retrenchment of local government workers and ban of okada operation.”
“Governor Fayemi has equally promised to continue work on dualisation of Ikere road but Fayose told Ikere people to ask Fayemi why did he have to wait until Fayose had said that he would continue with the work.”
Fayose said “this is a deceit of the 21st century and only a fool would believe Fayemi, but Ikere people and Ekiti in general are wiser.”
Fayose urged the people to reject APC totally and vote for him to bring back to the state era of economic boom and progress.
