The Hon. Michael Opeyemi Bamidele Campaign Organization has debunked insinuations that it was having an alliance or pact with anybody or group.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti today, the campaign organization urged politicians to say the truth at all times and attributed the rumour to those whose success at the forthcoming gubernatorial elections were already damned due to the towering stature of the Labour Party standard flagbearer. According to the MOB Campaign Organization, “politics of lies and deceit will not help our dear state, hence it should be discouraged” The group reiterated its candidate’s firm commitment to taking over the seat of governance in Ekiti via the ballot box, come June 21, 2014 and urged civil servants in the state to cast their votes for the Labour Party with a promise to conduct a credible, free and fair local government elections within its first six months of government, training and re-training of teachers as well as prompt promotion as at when due. It equally promised gainful employment for the youths whom MOB often refer to as the future of Ekiti as well as an improved and more meaningful social security policy for the aged, amongst others
Ekiti people, the campaign organization advised, should not give to hearsay or rumour mongering. Instead, they should always endeavor to verify their facts and stick to the truth which is always constant!
