Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun and member of the senate Iyiola Omisore who share opposite party ideology.
Aregbesola is an APC administrator, while Omisore, a previous deputy governor and member of the senate belongs to the PDP.
At the weekend, Omisore declared his interest in contesting the governorship chair of the state in the elections arranged for 9 August.
Both men however contacted on Sunday 9 February at the annual spiritual events coordinated by Saint Nicholas Church, Oke-Maria, Otan-Ayegbaju. Separating them is member of the senate Babajide Omoworare, who unseated Omisore in the 2011 election, to comprise Ife-Ijesha district.
