24-Year-Old Miss Osun, Joy Raimi, Emerges as Miss World Nigeria 2025

Joy Mojisola Raimi, proudly representing Osun State, has been crowned Miss World Nigeria 2025. The 24-year-old beauty queen claimed the top spot at the grand finale held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, standing out among 37 contestants from across the country.

Raimi, a graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, is the founder of The Love for Humanity project — an initiative centered on compassion and helping others. Her story touched many during the final round of the competition, where she opened up about growing up without a mother and being constantly bullied by her caregiver. She shared how those tough experiences helped shape her into the resilient woman she is today.

Miss Abuja, Mercy Jessica, was named the 1st Runner-Up, while Miss Abia, Deborah Anosike, took the 2nd Runner-Up position. The 3rd and 4th Runner-Up spots went to Miss Ebonyi, Hilary Dada, and Miss Imo, Shelly Usman, respectively.

As the newly crowned Miss World Nigeria, Raimi will go on to represent Nigeria at the 72nd Miss World pageant, which will take place in Hyderabad, India, from May 7 to 31. She will be competing alongside contestants from 140 countries for the global crown.
