See below a quotation extracted from a blog today obviously belonging to another Obigoat.
“Breaking: Farming in the Southeast is really yielding fruitfully and crashing prices.Bag of Potatoes sold ₦6,000. Basket of Tomatoes sold ₦27,000.This to show the North that East can never bow to any of their threat or pressure concerning food shortage, we are Ndi gboo. All the way from Nsukka Ikpa Market”
Everyday it is always about Igbo Amaka. But which Nigerian is saying Igbo is not Amaka? What can be the basis for such a statement?
Right now Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo is reigning and all Nigerians are dancing it happily without attempting to bring it down, topple it or make a mess of it.
But if Gwo Gwo Gwo Ngwo was from another ethnic group we know those who would have been trying to make a mess of it based on jealousy or envy.
In music there is envy for artistes called to perform at world stages like during the Coronation of King Charles and the World Cup.
By movies that are doing well on Netflix and Nigerian theatres there are complaints that Omoluabis have completely taken over the movie scene in Nigeria.
Therefore their bloggers if not criticizing the movie producers they keep trying to tarnish their images or demarket their work.
It is even worse if such artistes such as Eniola Badmus, Naira Marley,Toyin Abraham, Seyi Law and Brymo decided not to bend towards them or their political propaganda.
They have tried to prove to these artistes they can spoil business for through fake facts and figures on social media but have continuously failed woefully.
Even for ordinary ethnic cultural events they will keep referring to all sorts of irrelevances in an attempt to devalue such event as long as it is not from their zone. The intensity of envy and jealousy can always be read and felt by what they say on social media
They did so when Ojude Oba came out so magnificently a few weeks ago. But their bloggers were talking about Ogun State fixing roads that are even better than those available In their zone
To them each day is about competition.
Each day is about telling Nigerians they are not inferior to anyone even where there is absolutely no need to worry.
The earlier they understand that no tribe is interested in feeling superior to others in the country, the better for them.
Nigerians want to live in peace and harmony without the inferiority complex that u wear like a toga each day. U hia?
Na me tok am so.
