Heartwarming initiative, the JoyousHeart Health Foundation embarked on its first outing to the Federal Medical Center, IdiAba Abeokuta, spreading joy, celebration, and encouragement to patients on their road to recovery. The NGO, led by Coordinator Akinseinde Titilayomi, orchestrated a memorable St. Valentine’s Day celebration in the male wards, engaging 48 patients with music, dancing, games, and thoughtful gifts, including food, bottled water, and baskets of fruits.The outing saw the participation of 12 volunteers, including esteemed figures such as Dr. Rotimi Akinlesi, a Permanent Secretary for Special Duties, and Tunde Kelani from Mainframe.
The event marked a significant step in the foundation’s mission to bring smiles to those in need.Looking ahead, the JoyousHeart Health Foundation is gearing up for its next outing, scheduled for Thursday, February 29th, 2024, at Mercy Hospital, Panseke, Abeokuta. The foundation aims to continue its mission of spreading positivity and encouragement to patients in different hospital wards.
