The late Venerable Superior Evangelist Victor Babatope Williams, MBOT, MPIC (Member Board of Trustees, Member Pastor in Council, C.C.C. W/w), former Director of Finance and Administration of the Nigerian Army, Director General, Directorate of Music, C.C.C. W/w, was buried on Friday, 20th October, 2023, at the Vaults and Gardens, Ikoyi, Lagos, with full military honours and Celestial compliments.
Like bees to a honeycomb, the burial of late VSE V.B. Williams, who retired from active service as a Major General in the Nigerian Army, attracted an impressive turn out from the military constituency as well as the Celestial Church of Christ.
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, was ably represented at the event by the Chief of Accounts and Budget of the Nigerian Army, Major General A.A. Fayemiwo, while Venerable Superior Evangelist Olatosho Oshoffa, Shepherd in Charge, Celestial Church of Christ, International Headquarters Cathedral, Ketu, Lagos, delivered a message from the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa.
Present at the event were Most Superior Evangelist M.O. Ajao, Venerable Superior Evangelist Olusegun Folorunsho (MBOT), Superior Evangelist Obafemi Adewale (MBOT), Venerable Superior Evangelist Olatosho Oshoffa, Venerable Superior Evangelist Ajayi Omonehin, Venerable Superior Evangelist Akossou Severin, Venerable Superior Evangelist Ojeleye, Venerable Superior Evangelist Abayomi Ilori, Venerable Superior Evangelist Sammy Sotomi, amongst so many other dignitaries.
