DSS releases suspended Ogun LG chairman, Adedayo

The Department of State Services (DSS), in Ogun State, has released the suspended chairman of Ijebu East Local Government, Mr. Wale Adedayo.

Adedayo was detained by the secret police on Friday, in Abeokuta, following his allegation on the diversion of local government funds by the Prince Dapo Abiodun-led administration in the state.

Sources within the secret police had informed that Adedayo was detained in his custody following alleged breach of public peace over his petition.

The sources, equally told News Contact Online, that Adedayo was released after his lawyer perfected his bail bond.
