How Dankaka Has Been Enhancing Workers’ Welfare At Federal Character Commission

The Chairman of the Federal Character Commission (FCC), Dr Muheebah Dankaka has done a lot to improve the standard of living of staff of the Commission, investigations by this medium have revealed.

Some members of staff of the Commission who spoke with our correspondent confirmed that Dr Dankaka has put in place measures which have enhanced the welfare of the staff of the Commission.

“Come to the headquarters of the FCC in Abuja and see wonders. Dr Dankaka has given the buildings facelift. She installed lifts and rebranded the reception area,” a staff of the commission said.

Another staff of the Commission told our correspondent how the FCC Chairman had procured a brand new state office for the Cross River State Secretariat. “Apart from this, a property had already been purchased for the Bayelsa State office,” she said.

Dr Dankaka received commendations for payment of backlog of benefits to families of deceased members of staff.

“She had also ensured enhancement of job peculiar allowances for staff while also ensuring that these allowances are paid as at when due,” another staff confirmed to our correspondent.

This medium learnt further that Dr Dankaka had ensured that staff promotion and training are not delayed. “Staff are promoted as at when due and we don’t lack training as regular training programmes are organised to update our knowledge,” another staff told our correspondent.

The commissioning of the Digital Economy Center at the FCC headquarters has also done a lot to improve and enhance general output of staff of the Commission.

“I work here and I’ve been here for some years and I can confidently tell you that Dr Dankaka’s tenure is the best I’ve witnessed since becoming a staff of this Commission,” yet another staff told this medium.
