Today, the newly sworn-in Osun State College of Technology Governing Board Chairman, the former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Hon Diran Odeyemi resumed office, met with the Management of the School under the leadership of Dr S.A.O Adegoke, the Rector of the Institution.
While addressing the Management, the Chairman assured them of his readiness to work with them, sought their support and cooperation, and charged them to be dedicated to duties as he isn’t ready to entertain any form of non-challans attitude at any level of the Management. He asked them to let the ideology of “zero tolerance to indiscipline and corruption”, and “due process” of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke of the State be their emblem and identity to follow in all they do.
The Rector of the School, Dr S.A.O.Adegoke on behalf of the Management welcomed the new Chairman, Hon Diran Odeyemi to the office, and assured him of the absolute support from all cadres of the Management. He used the opportunity to narrate a few challenges confronting the school and sought his utmost attention.
In the entourage with the Chairman was the Honourable Member representing Obokun State Constituency, Hon Adewunmi Adeyemi popularly called “Irekandu”. The Honourable enjoined the Management to keep praying, and supporting the giant strides of the incumbent performing governor of the State, His Excellency, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. He said he can on behalf of the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon Adewale Egbedun assure the Management that all necessary steps to return the lost glory of the School shall be taken.
The Rector also took the Board Chairman and his entourage on a tour around the School premises, showed them the projects ongoing, and discussed with them all that need to be done to fix a few things within the Campus immediately.
The Rector appreciated the first official resumption day of the Chairman and prayed to God to bless him with more strength, wisdom and knowledge to carry out his duties for the progress of the School, the State and humanity at large.
