Hon. Osoba, son of the former governor of Ogun State, affirmed that aged and vulnerable people in the society really need huge support at this critical moment in the country, being mostly affected by the coronavirus pandemic that has killed thousand of lives across the globe.
He said: “Everyone can do their own part to assist these people. It must not only be elected people, but various political appointees and wealthy people should help the aged and vulnerable people in the society. Also those that have, should rather give to the less privilege instead of demanding palliatives from the state government.
“Government is trying to give to the poorest of the poorest, so people need to realise that. That was why government insisted on not transferring money to those with more than N5,000 in their accounts, but to people who do not have anything at all.”
